eCtune Licensing FAQ
Q: How does eCtune's licensing work?
A: eCtune provides a one year license for most of our product versions. This includes the DIY and Pro versions.
The one year license does not mean that you will have to purchase eCtune again after your one year license has expired, it only means that after that period you will need to re-register your copy of eCtune.
This is a very painless process that takes only a few minutes to complete.
Q: Can I tune more than one car with eCtune?
A: eCtune DIY and Pro allows tuning of one car. Additional licenses may be purchased to tune additional cars. The Tuner edition allows tuning of unlimited cars.
Q: Can I burn chips with eCtune?
A: Burning chips with eCtune DIY and Pro is not available currently. eCtune requires a Moates Ostrich to be connected to the ECU. The Moates Ostrich replaces the chip and allows real-time tuning. The Tuner edition allows chips to be burned.
